About the Recipe
Savory dips are always easy to find, ranch dip, caesar dip, spinach dip and the list goes on. But this dip is a little bit different. It tastes great on crackers, cookies, apple slices, fruit, you name it, it tastes great. Give it a try at your next party!
1 Block of cream cheese warm and softened.
½ Cup of butter
¾ Cup of brown sugar
½ Cup powdered sugar AKA confectioner sugar or icing sugar.
1 Teaspoon vanilla
Sea salt to taste
3/4 Cup of small chocolate chips (Regular size will do but the small ones give better effect)
Cream the cream cheese for one minute with electric mixer until smooth. Cream the
butter into the cream cheese and add brown sugar.
Beat with an electric mixer on low to medium speed until thoroughly mixed.
Add vanilla and sea salt and mix for an additional minute on low to medium speed.
Mix in chocolate chips with a spoon. Transfer to your favorite serving dish or bowl.
Top Tip: Do not mix in chips with electric mixer. The chips will break apart and the dip will turn brown.
