About the Recipe

Savory dips are always easy to find, ranch dip, caesar dip, spinach dip and the list goes on. But this dip is a little bit different. It tastes great on crackers, cookies, apple slices, fruit, you name it, it tastes great. Give it a try at your next party!

Ingredients

  • 1 Block of cream cheese warm and softened.

  • ½ Cup of butter

  • ¾ Cup of brown sugar

  • ½ Cup powdered sugar AKA confectioner sugar or icing sugar.

  • 1 Teaspoon vanilla

  • Sea salt to taste

  • 3/4 Cup of small chocolate chips (Regular size will do but the small ones give better effect)

Preparation

Step 1

Cream the cream cheese for one minute with electric mixer until smooth. Cream the

butter into the cream cheese and add brown sugar.

Step 2

Beat with an electric mixer on low to medium speed until thoroughly mixed.

Step 3

Add vanilla and sea salt and mix for an additional minute on low to medium speed.

Step 4

Mix in chocolate chips with a spoon. Transfer to your favorite serving dish or bowl.

Top Tip: Do not mix in chips with electric mixer. The chips will break apart and the dip will turn brown.
